She watches and waits.
Looks on in hopes that she can catch, hold and observe living creature. The time comes and as she swoops the net, one is caught. The challenge: to lift out net without hurting or killing. It is in her grasp, she has done well, the beauty is in her hand. Placing it into the butterfly house, she and siblings name each one according to their personalities, characteristics, color and behavior. The majestic will be studied for a while, fed nectar and given water...hand-drawn on papers, and imprinted in minds...then...set free...grasping fragile body...the amazing part...majestic beauty sits on finger still and staring, imagine...holding beauty and looking right into the eyes with amazing glare, body with amazing and beautiful color...memorized by stillness and beauty, in awe of moment...running with hand held high begins so wings will take flight...finally all watch as soaring begins...the best part...the smile! the gleam! the fullness of joy seen in the eyes of God's children as created meets created.
Imagine: Created weaves creation in womb, in the palm of His hand, growing, nurturing, sustaining life. Given individual personalities, characteristics, color, behavior, even gifts and talents. He has done well. Majesty creates the majestic children. He loves, provides food, water, needs and even wants by His grace. Then opening womb, he lets go...and we are free. World sees beauty, He sees life, sees His plan for His glory. As we come to know Him and kneel on bended knee, acknowledge His Son as Saviour...we are re-born once again set free...set free from bondage...imagine...awe of created meets Creator...running with hands held high in praise we take flight and soar! He watches and looks on...the best part...the smile, the gleam, the fullness of joy in Lord. Built for His glory, built for His pleasure, built to be His hands and feet...
He watches and waits...looks on in hopes of a chosen life spent with Him...
She watches and waits..looks on in hopes of holding onto majesty...
She soars...
