Full of sweet thankfulness...
Peace...joy...smiles...
A sweet exchange of daddy-daughter emails in the wee hours of the morn!
Odds of both being up not able to sleep?...not going to speculate...
just going to fall asleep now with a big smile on face and peace in heart...
Will close my eyes to embed this sweet time to remember always...
Dad...I love you...and thanks for sharing tonight over the roadway distance...
I surely enjoyed our time!
Get some "beauty" sleep...rest well...

Liberty
but the power to live as God requires."
Seen on another blog today, I hope this Godly lady doesn't mind the repeat of this awesome quote. But it struck hard as daily battles are fought....we have been given awesome power, His power to live, live life abundantly but with that power comes great responsibility to live as God has required of us and not feed our flesh.
May we seek his face, His touch, His love, abundant mercy, and blessings seen...moreover the ones unseen...daily.
Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord [is],
there [is] liberty
Liberty...freedom...true freedom in Christ...not flesh...spirit...liberty
Liberty...the power to live as God requires.....
Another day...another moment...another study...what does God require?
Praise Him for liberty...this captive has been set free!
"Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage."

Who is he who rules...and who is he who is enslaved...and to whom?
May we be careful what "man" we think can save
May we be careful what "man" we think can deliver
May we be careful what "man" we think brings change
Oh Lord turn our eyes to you
Oh Lord soften our hearts to hear your word
Oh Lord forgive us, deliver us, save us
Oh Lord grace us with mercy of those who seek your face
May we be your servant
Serve for your glory
Love our neighbors
Pray for our enemies
Lord may we not forget our first love...You

Message below from a Pastor in Virginia - Makes you think -
"Good morning, brothers and sisters; it's always a delight to see the pews
crowded on Sunday morning, and so eager to get into God's Word. Turn with me
in your Bibles, if you will to the 47th chapter of Genesis, we'll begin our
reading at verse 13, and go through verse 27.
Brother Ray, would you stand and read that great passage for us?
....(reading)...
Thank you for that fine reading, Brother Ray... So we see that economic hard
times fell upon Egypt , and the people turned to the government of Pharaoh
to deal with this for them. And Pharaoh nationalized the grain harvest, and
placed the grain in great storehouses that he had built. So the people
brought their money to Pharaoh, like a great tax increase, and gave it all
to him willingly in return for grain. And this went on until their money ran
out, and they were hungry again.
So when they went to Pharaoh after that, they brought their livestock -their
cattle, their horses, their sheep, and their donkey - to barter for grain,
and verse 17 says that only took them through the end of that year..
But the famine wasn't over, was it? So the next year, the people came before
Pharaoh and admitted they had nothing left, except their land and their own
lives. "There is nothing left in the sight of my lord but our bodies and our
land. Why should we die before your eyes, both we and our land? Buy us and
our land for food, and we with our land will be servants to Pharaoh.." So
they surrendered their homes, their land, and their real estate to Pharaoh's
government, and then sold themselves into slavery to him, in return for
grain.
What can we learn from this, brothers and sisters?
That turning to the government instead of to God to be our provider in hard
times only leads to slavery? Yes.. That the only reason government wants to
be our provider is to also become our master?
Yes.
But look how that passage ends, brothers and sisters! Thus Israel settled in
the land of Egypt , in the land of Goshen .. And they gained possessions in
it, and were fruitful and multiplied greatly." God provided for His people,
just as He always has! They didn't end up giving all their possessions to
government, no, it says they gained possessions! But I also tell you a great
truth today, and an ominous one.
We see the same thing happening today - the government today wants to "share
the wealth "once again, to take it from us and redistribute it back to us.
It wants to take control of health care, just as it has taken control of
education, and ration it back to us, and when government rations it, then
government decides who gets it, and how much, and what kind. And if we go
along with it, and do it willingly, then we will wind up no differently than
the people of Egypt did four thousand years ago - as slaves to the
government, and as slaves to our leaders.
What Mr. Obama's government is doing now is no different from what Pharaoh's
government did then, and it will end the same. And a lot of people like to
call Mr.Obama a "Messiah," don't they? Is he a Messiah? A savior? Didn't the
Egyptians say, after Pharaoh made them his slaves, "You have saved our
lives; may it please my lord, we will be servants to Pharaoh"?
Well, I tell you this - I know the Messiah; the Messiah is a friend of mine;
and Mr. Obama is no Messiah! No, brothers and sisters, if Mr. Obama is a
character from the Bible, then he is Pharaoh. Bow with me in prayer, if you
will...
Lord, You alone are worthy to be served, and we rely on You, and You alone.
We confess that the government is not our deliverer, and never rightly will
be. We read in the eighth chapter of 1 Samuel, when Samuel warned the people
of what a ruler would do, where it says "And in that day you will cry out
because of your king, whom you have chosen for yourselves, but the LORD will
not answer you in that day.."
And Lord, we acknowledge that day has come. We cry out to you because of the
ruler that we have chosen for ourselves as a nation. Lord, we pray for this
nation. We pray for revival, and we pray for deliverance from those who
would be our masters. Give us hearts to seek You and hands to serve You, and
protect Your people from the atrocities of Pharaoh's government.
In God We Trust..."
------------------------------------------------------------------
May we love with a love everlasting
May we seek you and find you
May we remember...there is always a "price" for "freedom"
May we not give up that freedom for "change",
May we not be deceived
Protect us, guide us, provide for us
Lord may we remember WHO is our keeper of souls,
Lord may we willingly serve you
Lord may we only be enslaved to the eternal crown, not on earthen treasures and comforts
Lord may we be mindful of whom we serve
Lord may we be conscious of whom we follow
Lord may we be careful whom we seek
Lord may we be not deceived in whom we think gives justice
Lord may we see you as our great provider
Lord may we remember you allowed the ruler of this earth
Lord may we desire to be enslaved to you and no other
May we graciously accept your sacrifice for freedom and not squander it away nor defile it
May we return to our first love, for we know who formed our inner most parts.

Sometimes...this is all...
weary, tired, and almost to the end...
just around the corner is destination to win...
this song is peaceful and so true at times...
May it comfort that sometimes...this is all...
all we can give...and that's ok...ok to be tired...ok to hurt...
ok to be ready for the prize...for the completion of this journey...
May you be filled with peace, strength and wisdom...
just to know you are loved, and His grace is sufficient.
Sometimes...this is all...

Remembrance...Part I
In remembrance of life altering changes...
We pray, we hope, we dream, and stand on the promise of the Lord...
He will hear cry of His servants' plea, and bless abundantly exceedingly all asked.
Sometimes words do not come, just our hearts and knees knelt before His throne on your behalf. A hug, a smile, a call...just to say we love you and will one day cry tears of joy as we celebrate with you the breath of life He will bestow upon you to raise.
We love you dear friends, we still remain on bended knee for you to Thee.
May the Lord guide your journey and provide His wisdom.
May the Lord take your pain and turn it to joy.
May the Lord take your tears and give comfort.
May the Lord take your questions and strengthen you.
May the Lord take your dreams and fill the desires of your hearts.
May the Lord smile upon two of His children that praise through the storm.
May the Lord bless you exceedingly abundantly all you ask.
May the Lord fill you with love overflowing.
Hugs, tears, smiles, prayers dear friends. You are loved.

Seen...Unseen
only to find this quote:
Do not depend on the hope of results. When you are doing the sort of work you have taken on, essentially an apostolic work, you may have to face the fact that your work will be apparently worthless and even achieve no result at all, if not perhaps results opposite to what you expect.
As you get used to this idea, you start more and more to concentrate not on the results but on the value, the rightness, the truth of the work itself.
—Thomas Merton, in a letter to Jim Forest dated February 21, 1966
So...my mind started to think upon such things...
Makes me reflect on one of my favorite things to think about...."The unseen". So many times we focus on what we can see, rather to obey and heed scripture that tells us that faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things unseen.
This composed in my mind...written across keyboard and emailed....
Let us live in truth, worship in spirit and truth, let us work for not the "seen" but the "unseen".-for in that lies the very majesty of Him who created us.
Let us be a mere reflection of Christ, carrying with us His love and not our own expectations of outcomes nor performances.
Let us lay down our heads with meekness of heart, knowing we did good work in following Him, for it is He who has chosen the mighty work within.
Truth, righteousness, peace....and forever praise!
May your day be filled with blessings, love, laughter, and the peace that surpasses all understanding! May you be filled with joy overflowing just in knowing He has gone before you, prepared you, equipped you for every good work....even the "felt" or the "unseen".
May His mighty hand guide and protect you today and always.
You are loved!
Seen...Unseen...live in truth, spirit, and grace of the Lord

Fear...
Soul must sing...fill with His words.
"Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones."
Must fill vessel with words of life, words of wisdom, words of courage, words of hope, words of peace, words of future and prophecy.
Thoughts and words they come, written by ink of blessings seen and unseen, moment from moment, smiles of joy, peace, thankfulness...but first must address battle within.
The experience, a teeter totter.
A thought on Fear:
The deadly unreal that has become so real, lived out in life; never to have thought possible or imagined. The mind wages war against deepest part of soul and spirit, the very spirit that is within, the very One that dwelleth in who maketh all things new, the very One that dwelleth in which embraces the fight with courage and graciously gives peace in the battle; for the fight is not with flesh and the very Victory has overcome in eternal heaven.
The wage, The war, The ride:
The mind: Oh my! It must be taken captive, captive to Christ, Savior.
The soul: Must sing unto Thee a new song, praising The Holy One.
The body: Must endure, at same time find rest in The Open Arms.
Fear, attacks, attacks hard and slow, destroying the very thing it tries to capture; when finished with its prey, moves on to the next vessel in moments of weakness. Leaving this shell fragile, exhausted, anxious and recluse, removed.
Must refocus eyes to Him, Jesus; who came to save, to His words; Carrying the mind, body, and soul in the very vessel He dwelleth. Victory has overcome, begins again the renewal, the amazing grace, the energy, the fuel.
The teeter totter has slowed down a bit, with milder waves now.
The pleasant words of His letters, beautiful instructions to His child, a honeycomb, sweet, turns around fear: and vessel is...
Renewed.
Amazed by grace.
Energized.
Fueled, body and spirit.
Then and only then, the soul, the mind, refreshed, bones of body shall be healthy.
Fear...No, No fear...just encouragement, strength, rest and His gracious quiet joy for today.
Ride, yes the teeter totter rocks back and forth, back and forth, but...
Mind, Body, Spirit...Sings unto Thee, Sings unto Thee,
"It is well, with my soul"
Filled with His words...sweet as honeycomb to soul
Singing unto Thee...health comes to bones.
"For the word of God [is] living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." Heb 4:12

"Ready Yourselves"
So the thought for this years theme...
"Restored"...
prayers had risen for the Lord to restore his child, child with the desire to serve, to love, to grow in becoming the wife and mother He wanted to lead me to be....
Then recently.....maybe that would not be the word, the theme for 2010?...
Yes, restored inside and out would definitely be a gift from Lord...but with the changes the new year is bringing... The words keep coming and not stopping at just one..
"Prepare for Rain". (as in Facing the Giants) We must prepare, prepare as we wait upon the Lord, to see where He will lead. Prepare and keep heart and mind open in preparation for change, yet limiting expectations.
"Ready Yourselves"!! (the new song from casting crowns) Ready Yourselves!! Ready self for change, for courage, for patience, for strength, for wisdom, for God's call, for evangelical experiences, for expanding territory, for growth, for peace...list could keep on going for sure...
But for know...this vessel will prepare...and ready self...as preparations and readiness are at hand, growth will surely come, and hopes of raising another generation up in the Lord will most assuredly be fulfilled...family will prepare and be ready!
As child of the God Most High prepares, heart will be prepared unto Thee, and will take rest in His safety.
As child of the Holy Lamb readies self, gladness, rejoicing, and honor are before Him.
Yes....restored...remaining steadfast no matter
Yes...Preparing for Rain...
Yes...for today....ever changing...
"Ready Yourselves"..

Oh Father...
Forgive them, for they know not what they do.
To understand the need time and time again, to forgive. It's amazing.
Character...Expectations...Dissappointments...maybe written another day, but for now dear Lord;
seeking Thee, praising Thee, Hear prayers of saints, Change hearts, and strengthen your servants.
Hear oh Father the plea for justice to prevail, for the righteous to shine forth, for the wicked to be cast down to come to a place to kneel, to seek, and to find you, the one true living God.
A heart of thankfulness for your fullness of joy amid the fiery circumstances which change the very created being to become more the image of Christ.
A humility, a redemptive promise, a morning of mercy, a life full of grace, an eternal sanctification.
Oh Father, do forgive, perform your perfect will, enlarge territories to reach those yet to become your children, for your Kingdom, power, glory.
Oh Father...
Our Father, which art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil:
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever.
Amen.
Holy, Holy is the Lord God Almighty...Holy is He, Holy is the Lamb.
Lamb slain for sinful flesh...Oh Father...yes...forgive them, for they know not what they do.
In Jesus Name...
Oh Father...

The just shall live by faith
As time moves on, this body grows older, and eyes opened...oh heaviness of heart..
to know, to see, to smell, to taste, to be effected by dark evil...sin - wicked world of power, just pure evil...raw unadulterated evil...to exalt themselves...no matter the consequences of those it will effect...the consequence maybe unforeseen, maybe foreseen. The magnitude, unimaginable!
To wonder, will the hearts of men ever turn back to the Lord?
Must look to Him who created and know He has His good and perfect plan, and he will use the believer just as he will use the unbeliever to attain His glory.
Must seek first the Kingdom of God.
Must seek His face, Him who softens hearts toward Himself.
Must seek a call to commune with the Heavenly Host of Hosts.
Must see the good beyond the evil, must see the veil which has been torn.
As the heaviness bears down for the lives whom the evil seeks to destroy...
there in that lies the true essence of seeking Him.
For the seeker shall find whom he seeks... Oh to know He is Lord...
Among this season, a peace like no other, a re-igniting of a passionate fire just as when we first begun this heavenly upward ride, a desire to move forward continuing the race set before the path ever altered by footsteps, a heart to intercede on the strengthened and a heart to intercede on those yet to belong to His Kingdom, a call for wisdom beyond humanly thought possible, guidance beyond what could be imagined, open and closed doors where our hands have no control,
Creator works His plans through even sinful flesh determined to divide, conquer, destroy, rise
Beauty among the ashes
Grace through the turmoil
Wisdom for the trail
Direction through the path
Living Words for the battle
God is the defense.
A call for those whom their knees have yet to bow.
A growth for those who are not ashamed of His name...Jesus!
A perfect plan for His glory.
Written, spoken, paved path along journey...keeping eyes upon Him who came to save
No dancing with the rumors, the gossip, the wicked...just praising the Holy of Holy.
Yes, heart heavy...but burden lifted by His merciful love and grace.
Soul will sing unto Thee ...
Wait, my soul waits...will wait upon Lord ...
Soul sings...just, faithful, abundant life in Him...
will remember and know...
The just shall live by faith
